Keep clothing around your throat and chest loose to allow the vapors to reach the nose and mouth. For muscle and joint pain, rub Vicks VapoRub onto the affected area. Use Vicks VapoRub up to 3-4 times daily.

A: No. You should not heat or microwave the product. Do not add Vicks VapoRub to hot water or any container where heating water. Doing so may cause splattering and result in burns.
